Rules 1. Have fun. It's why we play games. 2. The guys have to do the asking. It's called Retro for a reason. 3. Keep the date to between one to two hours. 4. If the date costs money the guys pay. Remember it's the RETRO dating challenge. Don't worry though guys because we have lots of cheap or free date ideas. 5. No physical touching. It keeps things safe and a lot less complicated. 6. You can only date people you know or a blind date set up by a mutual acquaintance. And they have to be in the group you are playing with. 7. The date needs to take place in a public setting. It's a first date safety thing. 8. No group dates. One of the advantages of this game is it gives you the chance to practice skills you will use later when you are actually serious about the person you are dating. 9. The ladies have to reject every 3rd request for a date. This helps the guys learn to deal with rejection and in case she gets a bad feeling about the date she can pretend it's her 3rd request. Don't use that card too often though as it will decrease your chances of winning. 10. You can only ask out someone again if you have already asked everyone else in your group. How do you play? 1. Go on a date and have fun! 2. Post the "proof" you went on the date by putting a photo taken on the date to your groups flickr page. The link to the group page is in the email we sent you when you signed up to play. The photos can be of anything G rated but try to be creative so you can win the most popular photo award. Instructions on how to upload the photos are at the flickr group page. How do you win? We have several ways you can win. The guys can win by: 1. Going on more dates than anyone else. 2. Being the first to go on a date with 90% of the ladies in your group. 3. Going on more dates within a 24 hour period than anyone else. 4. Submit the most popular photo that was taken on your date. The ladies can win by: 1. Having their name randomly drawn from the list of those who dated that week. The more dates you say yes to the greater the chances you will win. 2. Writing the most helpful dating advice in the discussion area. 3. Posting the most date ideas. 4. Submit the most popular photo that was taken on your date.
